Coatl Coffee Ethiopian Jaguar Specialty Blend
Ethiopian Jaguar Specialty roast is a bright roast with foral aroma, fruity notes, appropriate acidity and complexity. Our coffee is hand selected and processed then imported directly from the farm to our roasting facility in Oceanside, California where we hand roast on our hi-tech roasting equipment. Recommended brew for our Ethiopian Jaguar is aeropress or pour over.
We ensure that the majority of our coffee grows on farms that practice biodiversity and sustainability. These farms are home to over 100 different varieties of birds, including the Quetzal, an elegant, exotic, colorful creature. The coffee plants grow best in the natural shade in which they make their homes. The trees not only provide shade and give perfect conditions for coffee plants to grow, but all of the plants work together with an underground network of Mycelium, a fungi that connects roots of different plants together allowing them to communicate and work together to provide the perfect cup of coffee; a reminder that we are all connected to nature and one another.
